Last Night’s Family Outing
Chiropractor Derek Taylor and Family

Last night, my wife & I took our three youngest ones to catch a sunset near the Beach Club in Palos Verdes.

While we were there, I thought it would be a good idea to try our luck fishing again as the lunar tide's website predicted that the best fishing of the day was going to be at sunset.

The conditions seemed ideal…not too windy, not a ton of people swimming near our fishing spot, sand crabs were present.

The only problem I saw was the same problem I saw when I went fishing earlier that morning…the tide was low. Best surf fishing is always when the tide is rising.

Anyway, we picked up a dozen street tacos at a local favorite Mexican restaurant in Redondo Beach afterwards followed by gluten-free dark chocolate covered bananas at the supermarket.

I thought that taking my kids fishing twice on the same day with not one bite would be discouraging to them, but both of my sons said something that surprised me when we got home.

They both said at different times "This has been the best day of my life!" and then they started rattling off all the reasons why it was the best day of their lives with a big reason being they got to go fishing twice in one day.

This was a reminder to me that the best things in life are not things.

What makes life so grand are the relationships you have and how those relationships are being nurtured.

Your health affects everything you do and everyone you know.

The healthier you are, the greater affect you can have in your productivity & in your relationships.

What can you do today to invest in the priceless asset of your health?
