Is It Time For You To Make A Change?

Last night, after work I took my fanatical Dodger fan kids to see their favorite team play at Marlin stadium in Miami.

It was a close game all throughout, in fact, the game went in to extra innings.

We were elated when Bellinger scored in the top of the 10th pushing the team ahead 3-2.

But then in the bottom of the 10th, the Marlins loaded the bases with only one out.

That's when it was time for a pitching change and in a matter of less than 10 pitches, the game was over and the Taylors celebrated like it was 1999.

Just like the Dodgers recognized there was a need to change pitchers, there are times you need to make some changes in your lifestyle habits that will help you gain victory in your pursuit of health.

Here are three lifestyle habits that I recently made a shift in that may be able to help you, too.

#1) Stop eating three hours before going to bed.

When you eat before going to bed, your body does not get a chance to rest and rejuvenate at the same level on an empty stomach because all your energy goes to digesting the food you just ate.

#2) Sitting less and moving more.

Sitting is the new smoking. Joints get stiff. Cardiovascular health diminishes. Pain increases.

#3) Creating more margin.

Stop biting off more than you can chew. Don't let your eyes get bigger than your stomach. Slow down and create time to plan, think, and muse on what is important in life. Margin = Less stress.
